Stuck in recovery mode

I realized today that I did not receive anymore notifications. Guess there must have been an update for the pebble os. Since that happend, the iOS app kind of connects via Bluetooth, but still wants me to start the watch in recovery mode. That sucks big time as the watch keeps this mode and does not connect to the app properly anymore. Now the pebble is more or less a useless bracelet. Restarting the app does not work, neither does reestablishing the Bluetooth connection.
